An L&D ecosystem in Slack
GrandSapiens enables L&D professionals to easily build an employee learning & development ecosystem directly in Slack.
Centralize your learning resources in a Slack-based directory
You already have an LMS, files, resources, workshops, peer-to-peer learning and more. Boost the discovery of your resources by making them available via search in Slack. You can then continually improve your app based on what your users really search.
Broadcast knowledge in a timely manner
There are times when you want to actively push knowledge. Why not do it directly in Slack? GrandSapiens lets you send light, private broadcasts of knowledge and optionally link one of your resources for further learning. We provide the template, you simply add your content— emojis allowed!
Understand, inquire or quiz
Asking choice-based or open-ended questions in Slack is easy with GrandSapiens. Ask up to 5 questions per interaction and view all the answers afterwards (or export them for analysis). This is ideal for quizzing employees or for better understanding their needs in order to enhance your L&D offering.
Create thoughtful learning journeys
You can send Broadcasts and Asks based on a date and time, but you can also automate their delivery based on a sequence. Choose which scripts you want to send, the delay in days between them, then add users to the sequence.
Powered by Airtable
We built GrandSapiens in Airtable so you feel like you're editing a simple spreadsheet.
Resources, broadcasts, asks, sequences, users—you manage it all in a dedicated Airtable base. You don't need technical skills and you won't need to bother IT every other day. GrandSapiens was built with L&D and HR professionals in mind. What it looks like →

Basic Sequences vs. Advanced Sequences
Basic Sequences can contain up to 4 interactions with at least 7 days between them. Advanced Sequences can contain up to 8 interactions with at least 3 days between them.
When your employees use the app for the first time in Slack, you can ask them questions that set up attributes on their profile. You can then make certain resources only accessible to certain attributes.
Custom Slack App
A custom Slack app means we create the Slack app directly from your Slack workspace (which means you can edit its name and features, invite collaborators, etc.). Not having a custom Slack app means you receive an "Add to Slack" button that adds our standard branded app to your workspace.
Do we need to pay while we set things up?
You'll have one month (without any charge) during which you can build your ecosystem (Centralize, Broadcasts, Asks, Sequences). After this "trial period" ends, your Airtable base will be connected to Slack and your employees will be able to start using it.

Should you need more than one month, we'll be happy to extend your no-charge period so you can put the finishing touches on your Airtable base.

Should you want to connect everything before the end of the standard one month period, you simply need to contact us and we'll activate your account and start billing you then.
Do you provide invoicing?
At this time, we only provide invoicing for companies who wish to subscribe to GrandSapiens annually. We offer a 10% discount for companies who want to do so. To subscribe annually, get in touch with us directly to set things up.
Is GrandSapiens secure?
Yes, it is. All data you transmit from your device to your private Airtable base is protected with 256-bit TLS encryption. At rest, the data on Airtable is encrypted using AES-256. Your Airtable data is transmitted to Slack through secure webhooks.
What is your cancellation policy?
Whenever you cancel your account we disconnect your Airtable base at the end of the last day of the current billing period. We stop your billing at the same time as we disconnect (we do not offer partial refunds).

Please note: Once you cancel your account, you can decide to permanently delete the Airtable base or keep it stored in case you want to reactivate it in the future.
